Albis was established in the firs decade of 1900 as manufactures of wooden packing and crates for haulage and trading of fruit and vegetables. Development of wood-working eqiupment and machines enabled Albis to approach new areas such as carbonated drinks, small matalware and industrial cases in general.

Thanks to the development of plastic materials in the packing area, in 1970 the company's product range was extended to plastic containers.

Iince 1991, Albis has been manifacturing preforms and Pet bottles, additional products which complete is production to meet packaging requirements in most sector, from foodstuff to chemical and paints through to buildings materials.
